A core value at Lickstein Plastic Surgery and Lickstein Plastic Surgery Medical Spa is giving back to our community in ways that impact lives for the better.

For 2025, we are honored to continue our role as presenting sponsor for The Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Council Mentorship Academy. This Academy, entering its 6th year, has allowed over 150 women in our community to find professional support and mentorship as they face pivotal moments in their careers .

The Mentorship Academy, presented by Lickstein Plastic Surgery, assists women overcome challenges to defeat imposter syndrome, accelerate their career path in their current career, returning to the workforce after children or divorce, pivot career paths, grow a passion from a side hustle to a career, enter the work from college, or re-establish themselves after surviving an abusive relationship, serious illness or injury.

Student Internship Program

Supporting Our Patients With Breast Cancer and Their Families

Caring for and supporting our patients with breast cancer and their families is core to what we do. Since 2018, we have proudly supported the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day by hosting a Pink Ribbon Display, during the third week of October, Downtown Palm Beach Gardens.

Each January, our full team participates in the Susan G Komen Foundation More Than Pink Walk . (formally Race for the Cure.)

Impact the Palm Beaches

We are proud to be founding members and sponsors of Impact the Palm Beaches – now Celebrating its 10th year! This incredible organization harnesses the power of collective giving to make impactful $100,000 grants to incredible organizations throughout our community, for a total community investment of over $1.9 million! Impact has grown from 100 to nearly 400 dynamic, philanthropic, community minded women over the last decade.

12 Days of Giveaways

Our 12 Days of Giveaways annually supports the exceedingly impactful work of Place of Hope and JAFCO in caring for our community’s foster children, at risk youth and young adults in need of transitional housing.

Place of Hope, Charity Navigator’s #1 Children Charity, has a special place in our hearts at Lickstein Plastic Surgery. Their mission is critical – Since its inception, they have served over 40,000 children, youth and families including 149 mothers and their babies, given 279 aged out homeless youth and families a place to call home, kept 654 sets of siblings together and provided 375 foster children forever homes through adoption. They have educated thousands of community members to recognize the signs of human trafficking.

We have a special tie to Place of Hope – our incredible body sculpting nurse, Trish Bender, RN, is married to their founding CEO, Charles Bender. Their daughter, Lauren Bender Grove, is our social media manger. Lickstein Plastic Surgery supports Place of Hope through donations, hosting educational forums, inviting foster youth interested in healthcare to shadow in our office as well as one on one mentoring of youth at their Palm Beach Gardens campus. The Licksteins continue to serve as personal mentors to a young woman they met thru volunteering at Place of Hope 5 years ago.

Jupiter Medical Center Foundation

Dr. Lickstein concluded his second term as Chief of Surgery at Jupiter Medical Center in December 2024. After more than 20 years on staff and volunteering in different capacities at the hospital, we continue our support of this most important community resource thru our contributions to the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation.
